Perhaps a tick box in the ACP, for each member? Then the green checkmark maybe added to some of the areas where a members' name is, not all of them; perhaps in the postbit, and maybe the member card; just those two areas.

Hi, Would it be possible to create an add-on where a simple green checkmark can be added to a member, labeled "Contributor"? I would like to recognize the members on my forum who have contributed/donated money to keep the site running. Sort of similar to your 'Verified Member' add-on.
